This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, uniting junior skaters from across the map in an all-level mixer scrimmage.

Tournament Structure
Level 1's
Teams: 2 Teams (Max Skaters 30)
Game Structure:
With just two teams battling it out, you'll witness intense competition as they face off in a series of "Mini Games." Each Mini Game lasts for 15 minutes, with no intermission, guaranteeing non-stop action. Get ready for a thrilling showdown, as these two teams will clash a total of three times in a fierce turkey-themed contest!
Level 2's
Teams: 3 Teams (Max Skaters 45)
Game Structure:
Teams compete in 3-team round-robin "Mini Games," with two 20-minute halves and halftime. Each team is guaranteed two games, ensuring ample action and excitement. It's a gobble-tastic showdown you won't want to miss!
Level 3's
Teams: 3 Teams (Max Skaters 45)
Game Structure:
Teams compete in a thrilling 3-team round-robin with "Mini Games," each featuring two 20-minute halves and halftime. Each team enjoys a guaranteed two-game showdown, promising ample action and excitement. Brace yourself for an unforgettable, high-stakes turkey-themed competition!
Awards
At the end of the tournament, each team will be awarded a Tournament MVP Blocker & Jammer.

FAQ's
How do I sign up my skater?
- Easy Peasy! Click the above button that represents your skaters level. Create a crossbar account with your information and register your skater as a participant in your profile! Once completed, you can register your skater for the event!
How will I know what team my skater is on?
- Once registered, your skater will be randomly placed on a team. Once you skater is rostered on a team, you will have access to the Team's page on crossbar! Here you will find the team name and information.
Will there be event merch?
- Yes! We will be offering commemorative event T-shirt for purchase for this event. (More info to come soon!) Per-orders are highly encouraged, look for order form following registration. MARS merch will also be available for purchase.
I am unsure of my skaters level, what should I do?
- No worries! We get that sometimes skaters fall in between levels and sometimes aren't sure what level they should play. We recommend if you are unsure what level is safe for your skater to play, that you reach out to your league to verify before registering!
Is there an admission cost for spectators?
- Nope! Turkey Brawl is FREE for all spectators. However, we will be holding a Community Clothing and Food Drive. In the spirit of giving and community support, we kindly request that all attendees bring a piece of warm weather clothing to donate to our Clothing Drive and a Non Perishable item. Your contribution will make a significant difference to those in need as the colder months and holidays approach. Let's come together to spread warmth and kindness within our community.
Will there be seating available?
Turkey Brawl 2024 will be hosted at Turners Skate Palace, please bring chair seating will be limited.
Will there be concession and/or food available at the venue?
Yes! Our concessions stand will be open!
We are going to need to book a hotel, do you have any recommended hotels?
- Absolutely! There are a number of wonderful hotels locally. We do not have specific hotel blocks and encourage you to shop around for what works best for your family, however we are happy to recommend the following options:

Level 1 Skaters: Roller Derby Beginners
Level 1 skaters are roller derby newcomers focusing exclusively on positional gameplay. They are in the early stages of learning skating basics, rules, and teamwork. Safety is a priority, and they're passionate about building their skills and contributing to the derby community.
Level 2 Skaters: Mastering Pushing Contact
Level 2 skaters have graduated from the basics and are now honing their skills in the art of pushing contact. They've become proficient in maintaining balance, controlling speed, and executing controlled pushes on the track. This stage marks their journey toward becoming well-rounded roller derby athletes, where safety, skill development, and teamwork remain paramount.
Level 3 Skaters: Masters of Full Contact Roller Derby
Level 3 skaters are the ultimate masters of roller derby, showcasing unparalleled proficiency in full-contact gameplay. They excel in positional blocking, pushing contact, and all aspects of the sport.
